What’s your business and how did you get started?

Divorce Squad is an online resource for divorcing women to connect with the professional support team they need. I created Divorce Squad following my own divorce which felt overwhelming and confusing. My hope for other women is that they have a better divorce experience to move successfully to their next chapter.

What’s your favorite thing about being a business owner?

Owning my own business allows me to pursue my passion of supporting women while having control of my work schedule. This is incredibly important for me as a working mom.

What keeps you motivated in the midst of challenges?

My three children are a beautiful source of motivation for me to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Tell us about your morning or evening routine.

My morning routine involves caffeine and gratitude! I always wake up earlier than my kids to have time to set my intention for the day. I have a quiet cup of coffee while I write down my goals for that day, and reflect upon what I am grateful for. I also spend some time reading before delving into getting the kids breakfast and ready for school.

What’s one thing you’re currently working toward or expected growth for the future?

Divorce Squad is growing their network of professionals in and around Massachusetts.

What’s your best business advice you give to other women?

My advice to other women is to schedule yourself first. There is so much demanded from us that if we don’t block our calendars with what supports us and our goals, they won’t happen. Take control of your time; it is your greatest asset!
