What’s your business and how did you get started?
I started my interior design business a year and a half ago. Before that, I worked as a floral designer for many years, which helped shape my creative eye and attention to detail. I have been living in the United States for seven years, originally from Ukraine, and I continue learning and growing every day as I turn my passion into a thriving business. I am an online interior designer and am also available for in-person projects in the Boston area. I offer affordable, room-by-room design packages that include layouts, 3D models, mood boards, and a clickable shopping list. My goal is to help clients create beautiful spaces in a way that feels easy, stress-free, and accessible.
What is one thing you’re really proud of that you’ve created or accomplished?
Starting my own business was a huge step for me, and I truly believe it has been the biggest milestone in my journey so far!
What’s your favorite thing about being a business owner?
I can plan my day the way I want, allowing me to prioritize my time, stay organized, and work in a way that feels most productive and balanced.
What is the boldest thing you’ve ever done in business?
Leaving a long career as a floral designer to start my own interior design business from scratch was a bold leap of faith. I had no local client base, no guaranteed income, and was navigating a new country and a new industry, but I trusted my passion for creating beautiful spaces and chose to go for it anyway.
What’s one thing you’re currently excited about for the future of your business?
I am continuously expanding my skills by learning a new 3D program to deliver even more detailed and high-quality renderings for my clients.
What’s your best business advice you would give to other women?
Trust your intuition and never stop growing, even if your journey looks different than you originally imagined.
