What’s your business and how did you get started?
Cove offers therapy as well as holistic wellness classes and treatments for our clients. After teaching at BC for many years, I longed to be in person again and help people access the best services for healing.
What is one thing you’re really proud of that you’ve created or accomplished?
I am proud of my ability to keep going despite the day to day challenges and the bombardment of technical information! I am a people person and the back-end of business is all new. But I’m keeping the mission in mind and not losing motivation that IT WILL WORK.
What’s your favorite thing about being a business owner?
I absolutely love meeting other professionals with similar goals to Cove. There are so many healers out there, I am constantly learning more from them. Seeing the classes in action and our clients’ transformation from when they walked in to when they leave is unbelievably gratifying.
What is the boldest thing you’ve ever done in business?
Taking on a big time rent without any income guaranteed. But I saw the potential, felt it in my bones, and signed on the dotted line.
What’s one thing you’re currently excited about for the future of your business?
I can’t wait to see individuals and families find exceptional help through our center. The variety of our topics and services are meant to engage and heal people of all ages and circumstances.
What’s your best business advice you would give to other women?
Listen to your gut. Find amazing people to help you along the way. Between what you instinctually know, and connecting with others who bring their own brilliance, magic can happen.
