Female Leaders Share What Makes Them Fierce and Fabulous
On Nov. 18, fierce and fabulous Neda Hovaizi hosted FFFCon, a unique convention catered for driven female leaders. The convention focused on redefining success by combining the power of femininity and authentic connection with innovative businesses, while celebrating what it means to be a woman in leadership. Here, we had the opportunity to speak with like-minded, hard working, and impressive female business owners and asked them what being a fab fierce female means to them.
“A fab, fierce, female is unapologetically authentic to herself, no matter the domain,” Chantal of Whyte & Co, a luxurious and nostalgic home and body brand, says. She emphasizes that a true leader stays true to her essence, regardless of the environment or the people around her. She adds, “No matter what you are going through, only you are the one that can rise to the top.”
Elizabeth D’Ascensao, a content creator, adds, “It means being confident, true to yourself, and standing in your truth and power.”
Thuy-Lihn Phan, known online as Honeybunnytwee, a bold content creator, believes that being a fab, fierce female means, “taking risks, making connections, and doing things that are beyond your dreams.”
“Being a fab fierce female means connecting to your authentic self, walking in your confidence, and owning it completely and unapologetically,” said Beverly of The Inner Glow Guide, a mindset, faith, and beauty company.
Lexi Palumbo of Lexi Palumbo Floral Designs said, “it has to do with supporting other women and other people in general the best that you can.”
“Owning yourself, unapologetically being you, and supporting other women,” said Jamie Cholaki, also known as the Sparkle Expert. She added, “Shining your light, taking up space, and encouraging other women to do the same.”
“It’s the unapologetic-ness of living in your own comfort and your own authenticity,” says Chloe Louv, success and brand business strategy coach. “Being female in this male-dominated world is the most fierce, fabulous thing you can be.”
“It means you have the courage to listen to your vision, follow your dream, and focus on the quiet whisper,” said Jess Bashara, a reiki master and teacher.
Ashleigh Powers, founder of Insieme Co, said, “starting to learn how to remove yourself from the gilded age and expectations and comparisons and leaning in to finding people who are supporting you and encouraging you.”
“For me being a fab fierce female, means living authentically at all times, being vulnerable with other people and encouraging them to do the same,” said Maya, a musician and artist who performed at the event.
Alexandra Ortiz, musician and daughter of Rex Socks player David Ortiz said, “it means community.”
Priscilla Romano, a physician research fellow at Umass, said, “this event brings out empowering other women, uplifting other women, and is just amazing.”
“It means being true to yourself, being authentic, doing what makes you happy. The most important part is lifting up everyone around you with you,” said Marwa Ozman, who runs the City Lists on all social media platforms.
These inspiring women prove that being fierce goes beyond success. Being a fab fierce female is about embracing authenticity and individuality, taking bold risks, and supporting each other’s growth. Their words remind us that when women support each other, powerful things are possible.
