What’s your business and how did you get started?
My business, Trading with Diana, empowers individuals to confidently navigate the financial markets. With over 20 years of business experience, including 15+ years as a trader and mentor, I started this business to simplify the complexities of the financial world and create a supportive space for people to build skills and take control of their financial futures. After leaving a successful corporate career and coaching hundreds of aspiring traders, I wanted to share the transformative tools and strategies that helped me achieve financial independence with others.
What is one thing you’re really proud of that you’ve created or accomplished?
I’m incredibly proud of building Trading with Diana from the ground up and watching it transform lives. It’s rewarding to see clients, many of whom once felt intimidated by the financial markets, grow into confident, informed traders and investors. I’m equally proud of how my career has evolved, with each pivot—from professional options trading to mentoring aspiring traders—leading me to this point. What I’ve created is a business that aligns with my core mission of helping others take control of their financial futures.
What is the boldest thing you’ve ever done in business?
Throughout my career, I’ve made several bold moves and pivots, each one leading me closer to where I am today. From a leadership role at a top management consulting firm to mentoring aspiring traders, every step has shaped my path. The boldest move I’ve made in my career was stepping away from my lucrative corporate career to take the leap into entrepreneurship. I left behind the security of that world to build a business focused on financial empowerment through trading education—a move that aligns with my passion and purpose, placing me firmly in the driver’s seat of my professional future.
What’s one thing you’re currently excited about for the future of your business?
I’m excited about the incredible growth potential of Trading with Diana as I expand my reach and establish deeper connections with my audience. Through social media, podcast appearances, live webinars, in-person workshops, collaborations, and my free blog, I’m cultivating a community of aspiring traders and investors eager to take control of their financial futures. The positive feedback I’ve received so far motivates me to continue creating valuable resources and programs that empower women and others to approach the markets with confidence and clarity. This is just the beginning, and I look forward to seeing where the journey leads.
What’s your best business advice you would you give to other women?
Take the leap! Don’t wait for the perfect moment or until you feel 100% ready. If you have a dream, trust in your abilities and start building it today. Be bold in your vision, stay consistent in your efforts, and surround yourself with supportive people who uplift and inspire you. It’s incredible what you can achieve when you bet on yourself.
What’s your favorite thing about being a business owner?
My favorite thing about being a business owner is living life on my own terms and seeing my vision come to life. Every day, I get to do what I love while inspiring others to take control of their financial futures with confidence. It’s deeply fulfilling to motivate people to believe in their abilities and break free from limiting beliefs, while also empowering aspiring traders and investors to develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed. Although I’m passionate about empowering individuals of all backgrounds, I’m particularly focused on helping women grow and thrive in the financial space. Building this business has been more than just a career pivot—it’s been a way to empower others while stepping fully into my passion and expertise.
