What’s your business and how did you get started?

I’m a business systems specialist, and I help awesome female entrepreneurs and business owners build and optimize their systems so they can grow and scale their businesses. I started out as a general virtual assistant, and learned a lot! But eventually, I realized that my passion lay in niching down and providing a service that I truly enjoy and that makes me happy.

What’s your favorite thing about being a business owner?

One of the things I love most about being a business owner is the freedom it brings me. I have the flexibility to lend a hand to my mom when she needs it, and I can prioritize my own health and fitness.

Not to mention, owning my own business gives me peace of mind knowing that I have the time and space to live life on my own terms. It’s liberating to have control over my schedule and know that I can make the most of every day.

What keeps you motivated in the midst of challenges?

The fact that I’ve already done it before! When I started my business, I had to build it up from scratch and quit my 9-5 job just four months later. That experience has taught me that I’m capable of achieving great things.

Every single day, I remind myself of all the positive moments and successes I’ve had along the way. And when things don’t go according to plan, I try to take it as a learning opportunity rather than a failure. It’s all about staying focused on the big picture and having faith that everything will work out in the end.

Tell us about your morning or evening routine.

My typical morning routine involves going to the gym first thing. Once I’m feeling energized and ready to go post shower and breakfast, I like to review my emails and prioritize my tasks for the day. It’s a great way to stay organized and ensure that I’m tackling the most important items on my to-do list first.

What’s one thing you’re currently working toward or expected growth for the future?

I’m working towards creating a DIY course for business systems. I know that not every business owner is ready to hire someone to build out their systems, but that shouldn’t hold them back from growing and scaling their business on their own terms.

My course will provide all the tools and resources they need to create their own systems, step-by-step, from start to finish. It’s all about empowering entrepreneurs to take control of their business and set themselves up for success.

What’s your best business advice you would give to other women?

If I were to offer advice to other women starting out in business, I’d say it’s important to focus on the positive moments and feedback you receive, even when things get tough. These small wins can really add up and help you stay motivated when things feel overwhelming.

Also, don’t feel like you have to niche down right away. It’s okay to take some time to test the waters and explore different areas to find what really excites you. Passion is the key to success, so make sure you’re doing something that truly lights you up inside!
