Bridgitte’s journey in launching GutPersonal stemmed from her own experience with healing gut issues. She grew a passion and expertise for gut health as she coached other women as a registered dietician, leading her to launch her first business, Well by Bridgitte, where she offered group and one-on-one coaching services.
Just a couple of months later, Bridgitte breached the success of her first business venture to launch her second business, GutPersonal. Bridgitte accredits the quick success of GutPersonal to the mere aspect of her confidence. She knew what she was doing and what she wanted her brand to look like, honing her nutrition and wellness skills to achieve success.
Bridgitte urges aspiring entrepreneurs that confidence is the key to success in business. It’s all about knowing that your products and services have the ability to change someone’s life and taking that leap of faith or that risk to even start your business in the first place. This is why when she set out on her business journey, the first team member she hired was a mindset coach. When Bridgitte decided to launch GutPersonal, she knew the transition from running a services-related business to a product one was going to be different. Although she had the knowledge, expertise, and credentials to launch a supplement brand, she didn’t have that business foundation, so she invested in a marketing business to not only expedite the launch of GutPersonal, but the success of it.
As well as investing in yourself and your business, Bridgitte advises you to find people to invest in you. Not only is GutPersonal female-founded, it’s also female-funded. Bridgitte built GutPersonal and was able to grow and launch it as quickly as she did through the help of female investors and fundraising. It was a big part of her vision to find women with similar values who resonated with her mission to be able to contribute and profit from the success of GutPersonal.
