What’s your business and how did you get started?

I own three businesses:
Hair salon suite – The Hue Hair & Co
Photography – Cecilia Jean Photography
Studio – Posed

What is one thing you’re really proud of that you’ve created or accomplished?

Although work life balance is sometimes a struggle. I manage to bring my family along for the ride spiritually as well as sometimes physically. Because of this I make sure that I’m intentionally signing everything I do. I want to fill the gaps in the ways I know best.

Posed studio provides a safe space to create, host and expand visions, The Hue Hair & Co can help your hair goal be achieved and Cecilia Jean photography captures all of your memories so that you may relive them whenever you want.

I love what I do.

What is the boldest thing you’ve ever done in business?

Open businesses while still postpartum!!! Hahaha, every time I’ve had a child a new business venture is born.

What’s one thing you’re currently excited about for the future of your business?

I’m enjoying the current moment but my hopes are that I reach as many people as I can and make meaningful connections.

What’s your best business advice you would give to other women?

This is hard. If you’re scared then it’s worth it. It shows you care. Jump! Do the thing. If it doesn’t work, pivot. Nothing is permanent, not even tattoos!

What’s your favorite thing about being a business owner?

I love being creative in every way possible. Whether I’m doing hair, capturing a wedding or family and/or providing a space to be creative, it all makes me happy.
I’m so grateful to share my passion with the world and what’s more, share this with my children. My daughter inspired me in the photography business and it’s been a whirlwind ever since.
